Malang and the surrounding areas, such as Batu, Poncokusumo, Ngantang, and Pujon, are ideal potato production centers due to their high altitude (900-2,500 meters above sea level).
Superior Varieties: Some potato varieties grown in Malang include Granola Kembang (G2), known for its high yield, and Atlantik, a low-sugar variety often used for industrial chips.
Quality: Potatoes from this region are known for their firm texture, clean skin, and high nutritional content, making them suitable for various food preparations, such as frying, boiling, or baking.
Production capacity: 200 tons per month.

Brastagi carrots are a type of carrot grown in the Brastagi area of Karo Regency, North Sumatra. This area is known for its cool climate and fertile soil, making it ideal for growing various types of vegetables, including carrots. Brastagi carrots are of excellent quality and differ from carrots from other regions due to their crispier texture and sweeter flavor.
